Dilute Calico / Calico / Mixed (short coat) Cat

Tabico Tuttle the Cat needs a home

A wonderful family helped me!

Tabico Tuttle was born about February 25, 2017 and is a real sweetheart!  She just showed up one day at a resale children's clothing shop.  She purred her way in the door and was the owner's were smitten!  Sadly, three out of four in the family are allergic to cats so she went to stay with the kids grandma for a couple days until we had room to bring her into rescue. She was wonderful with the five year old and is easily picked up and cuddled. She is fine with the other cats and dogs alike. Tabico is one of those move in easy kind of kitties that are not phased by much of anything and friendly with all. She is going to make someone very, very, happy. Tabico is now in one of our wonderful foster homes who recently sent an update:

My name is Tabico Tuttle. You may think this is a strange name, but Tabico comes from the fact  that I have tabby and calico markings, and Tuttles is the name of the kind woman who helped me! The first thing you need to know about me is I LOVE to play! I do best if I have several play sessions a day. I love when my foster mom gets out “Da Bird” toy, I love chasing it! I also love to run through a cat tunnel! The best time of day is when my foster mom sits down to read or to work on the computer because then I can get on her lap and purr. I live with 2 dogs and 2 cats. I don’t have  much to do with the dogs since they don’t want to play. I do like to chase and “play attack” the other 2 cats,  but this is done in fun. I would like another cat that is around my age to play with or I can be an only cat. Another cat would help to get rid of some of my energy. My foster mom is working on getting me used to having my nails cut. I am doing better and like the treat I get after each toe nail is cut. I do like to run out a door when it is open, so it is important that there is always a closed door between me and the outside world, but I love to sit in a window and watch the birds. So if you would like a cat that will “help” you when you are on the computer, or who will warm your lap when you read, I am the cat for you!!

A cat can live 12-18+ years if cared for properly. Be sure you are able to care for it for its lifetime.
